Our Daughter, Our Angel: A Year of Remembrance and Love

Darling, Our Dearest Daughter, you never really left us.

Days, weeks, and months pass… it’s already the first year, and every morning we (Dad and I) still hear your wonderful little voice:

“Come on, don’t sleep… time to get up!”

And every morning we follow that voice, heading to your special place. We call it the Avenue of Stars: Paulinka (18 years), Asia (21 years), Monika (21 years), Marcin (38 years), and you, Daughter (33 years)… unbelievable, yet true.

It’s hard not to ask ourselves why?… but at the same time, we know we won’t find the answer to that hardest question here, in this world.

As Asia’s mother recently said, someday we will surely know the “why.” But that isn’t what matters most right now.

Simeyyy, your “English Boy,” wrote beautifully yesterday, saying that a part of you lives on in him. And it’s true – you are in us and beside us, you are our Angel who helps us to endure and follow your voice:

“Positive Energy, Only Good Vibes & I can do it.”
