Love, Signs, and Christmas Reflections

Darling, Our Dearest Daughter,

I thought I loved you as deeply as one possibly could, but that's not true.

With every day, week, and month, I love you more, and more, and even more...

There are no limits to boundless love!

Exactly fourteen months ago, on the twenty-fifth, when your Heart stopped beating,

for your Dad and me, it was the first day of the last, most difficult chapter of our lives...

so very difficult because it’s without your physical presence.

Since yesterday, we have been celebrating, in deep reflection,

together with your wonderful "English Boyfriend" Simeyyy,

our second Christmas without you, yet so very much with you!

Already during Advent, you gave us a sign of how close you are to us.

It’s unbelievable... but it’s happening.

Several days ago, on the Saturday before the third Sunday of Advent,

Simeyyy and I went to Görlitz to the traditional Weihnachtsmarkt

(you loved this place so much, with the scent of roasted almonds, nuts, and its unique atmosphere).

It was the smell of roasted almonds that drew us to one of the beautiful stalls,

where, besides those treats, they were also selling gingerbread hearts of various sizes.

All of them had inscriptions in German... and suddenly, Simeyyy spotted a large heart

with an inscription in English: "Good vibes only"...

Those are your words... "Positive Energy, Good Vibes, I Can Do It"...

and it was the only heart with that inscription!

My psychologist said that heart was waiting for us!

Dearest Daughter, I must stop writing now... an ocean of tears...

but it has to be this way... suffering flows through...

I love you... I will write to you again soon... and Simeyyy will send you this HEART!
